From this comic strip, I can see that Juo Shuen is trying to show discrimination in a way that whites are discriminating blacks in terms that whites do not want to help blacks in their first day of school. Choosing instead to play dumb
Though it is possible to know what message you are trying to put across to the reader, I think that you do not have enough impact in your comic... I think you should add more comic boxes, e.g.to tell the reader what happened next...
